I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Axis Porto Club Aliados Hotel for four nights and had an overall wonderful experience. Location: The hotel’s location is superb, nestled in the heart of Porto. It’s within walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions, including the Livraria Lello, Clérigos Tower, and the vibrant Ribeira district. The proximity to public transportation, including the metro, makes it easy to explore the wider area as well. Staff: The staff at Axis Porto Club Aliados are exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The front desk staff were particularly helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries and made sure my stay was comfortable. Cleaners: The housekeeping team did a fantastic job maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. My room was spotless each day, with fresh towels and toiletries replenished regularly. The attention to detail was noticeable and greatly appreciated. Room and Amenities: The room itself was modern and well-appointed, featuring some convenient gadgets. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall design of the room was both stylish and functional. In summary, my stay at Axis Porto Club Aliados Hotel was delightful. The excellent location, outstanding staff, meticulous cleaners, and the thoughtful room amenities all contributed to a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

The staff is very welcoming and professional. The hotel is decorated very well, and our rooms were very spacious. I really liked all the amenities (specially the slippers, which felt quite sturdy for being from a hotel!). Our rooms all faced the inside backyard, which was very silent and peaceful. The location is quite good, a short walk from the main train station and from where most of our tours/activities were starting. There's a mall nearby, and plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself doesn't have parking, so it's quick 5 minutes walk from the actual parking site (we could park our big car pretty comfortably). The water pressure in the shower is good, the beds are comfy. complimentary tea and coffee is replenished everyday. Breakfast is simple, but good.

This is a wonderful hotel. I stayed here as a solo male traveler. The room was huge, and the bathroom big, had a mini-fridge, many TV options in several languages, beautiful view of Porto City Hall. The staff was welcoming from the first minute. I believe his name was Francisco. Broke down a map of Porto with me and all the sights. 24 hour reception always available to ask questions. Grocery store literally right up the street 2 mins away. Nice restaurants and shopping close. Easy 10 minute walk to the river and sights. Very quiet at night. I would stay here again, highly recommended. The best hotel I stayed at for two weeks in Portugal. You also get a free glass of Port wine.

The room was spacious, the bed really comfortable, everything spotlessly clean and in good condition, with good sound and heat isolation. Staff was kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Breakfast (buffet style) was available at the restaurant next door for a fee of 15€ per day, so there was no need to venture out into the rainy wilderness for food early in the morning. I loved staying there and look forward to returning!
